We all believe that the earth and everything on it, living and non living things were all created by the Almighty God . We also believe that God created us so that we can create other things, we have been given the wisdom and the strength to create whatever we wish for. All of us we were born with talents and gifts so that we can build,create and invent new things for as long as we live, so that we must not complain to God that we don't have these and that all the time. Its up to an individual to believe this because not everybody can see our gifts and talents through a naked eye until we begin to create. Just like wisdom one cannot see it until we begin to invent new things but the moment we start building and creating that's when people start to realise the amount of wisdom we have. One of the most important things we were born with is the ability to create anything, and some of the things we can be able to create are opportunities for us and other people.
Not all of us we were born in the royal families and born with a silver spoon in our mouth's. Unfortunately some of us are bound to work hard to earn a living. Even though we were not born in the families where we had everything we needed, God has made sure that he doesn't forget us in terms of equipping us with great ideas and creativity . God knew that our great ideas and creativity will earn us a living. And this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that God has no favouritism. That's the reason why by the time when we were still at school you would find that there was a huge difference between the kids who were coming from poor and rich family backgrounds when it came to their academic performance. Kids from poor backgrounds would always perform much better compared to those kids from rich families. Now after high school and tertiary education is the beginning of a new exciting and adventurous journey where a lot of creativity is needed and applied most in our daily lives in order for us to live our lives to the fullest.
Opportunities. Everybody who is able bodied and disabled need to be given opportunities and indeed they deserve to have equal opportunities. It might be an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents in a big company, in sports competitions or to participate in an organization, it doesn't matter as long as is an opportunity that might better their lives that's good. We believe that we need opportunities to change our lives for better. Some believe that opportunity comes once in a lifetime and now what happens if you miss your opportunity, does that mean its over with your life or career. What happens if an opportunity doesn't come and what will you do if nobody gives you any opportunity.
1.Choose your career path.
Find out what is it exactly you are passionate about, what you love and enjoy doing . Something that you wouldn't mind to do without getting paid. It is advisable to pick something that is in line with your hobbies and interests. If you can't fiqure it out on your own find somebody who knows and understand you, somebody you can trust their chargement in this regard. The best people who can help us to make the right decisions are our former primary and high school teachers,our parents and our closest friends as well. Do your research well online and most importantly for example if you want to become a pilot visit your nearest airport and meet up with the actual pilots, and have experience on how does it feels like to be in an aircraft and find out what are the experiences and challenges pilots are facing them on their day to day duties. 2. Get qualifications.
Now we all know this and I'm not going to dwell much on it. But its very much important to those who can afford to study at a college or university to go and study so that at least you can have a certificate or degree in the end. To do your research its very significant so that you won't waste your time and your parents finances. Because if you have done your research well the chances of dropping out of varsity will be very few.
3. Volunteer.
Volunteering when you have a certificate or degree increases your chances of getting employed because by the end of your studies you would have acquired the relevant work experience. Even if you are not holding a certificate or degree in anything, you can still volunteer your time and skills at a school or community organization to get experience and the chances of getting employed are plenty if you manage to prove yourself to the employers of that particular organization or place you are volunteering at. So hard work and dedication always pays off.
4. Start on your own.
You can still kick start your career on your own if you have got enough passion about it. For example if you want to become an actor or an actress write your own script and shoot videos then after upload them on YouTube. By so doing millions and millions of yotubes viewers can see it and who knows where it can lead to beside monetizing your videos. if you want to be a TV and radio presenter make demos and send them to different radio stations if not TV production companies.
5. Start your own business.
Draw up a proper business plan and approach banks to finance your business. Approach businessman to partner with. But do your research and that will help you to succeed in these. Start small with little cash you have and purchase stock and start selling it. Approach businesses to pitch your ideas.
If can't fly solo get some people who might be interested in your ideas to help you in terms of finances. For example you may write some recipes and sell them to the restaurants.
